Why Use Bamboo?
At BBcino, we've decided to use bamboo as it’s a sustainable crop that grows exceptionally fast, without any pesticides or insecticides. Bamboo requires minimal water to grow, and is a natural and renewable resource, making it a more environmentally conscious option! Bamboo is the REAL MVP!
Why should I choose BBcino?
Single use coffee and babycino cups are said to be the top 5 contributors to landfill. Which isn’t surprising when stats state that Australians dispose of 50,000 coffee cups every 30 minutes (THAT’S WILD!!). By choosing BBcino as an alternative to single use disposable cups, we’re not only reducing this amount but we’re also teaching our future generation all about making more sustainable choices! That, and our cups are cute AF!
What are BBcino cups made from?
Great Question! The base of our reusable babycino cups are predominantly made from bamboo fibres and corn starch, with a small amount of food safe melamine binder. This ensures cups are dishwasher safe (WOOHOO) and incredibly durable and sturdy, surviving even the grumpiest of toddlers!
Our lids, bands and straws are made from recycled silicone.
We’re proud to say that our products are 100% non-toxic, food safe, LFGB & FDA certified and comply with all standards and regulations. When purchasing from BBcino, you can feel confident that our products are tested for safety and quality! After all, all three of my little ones use their BBcino cups daily, and I need them to live a long, healthy life to take care of me when I’m old and fragile!

Designed for babycinos on the go, out and about or even at home! The perfect little keep cup for toddlers! Also perfect for juice, water, milkshakes, smoothies, espressos, piccolos, snacks…To be honest, I’d struggle to find something my children haven’t used their BBcino cup for!
Who designs BBcino prints?
We have worked with two incredible graphic designers that have helped bring our vision to life! We’ve also been lucky enough to collaborate with some incredibly talented Australian artists and other small business women! Including our beautiful indigenous Country in Pink and Blue cup by Leah from Bunya Designs. For our Cove cup, we worked with Kayla from Luna Cove Co and Prints By Gigi. Our Oasis cup was designed by the incredible Jess from Jess Walker Designs! And our newest addition, Cub, was created by the very talented Agnieszka Aleksandrowicz-Jablonska.
How durable are BBcino cups?
Because we know our audience… tantruming toddlers! We’ve made sure that our cups are incredibly sturdy and durable! We actually pride ourself on how durable and strong our reusable babycino cups are! However, we cannot guarantee that they won’t break when thrown hard! If they do unfortunately break from a hard throw or a drop, they’ll luckily only crack or slightly chip and won’t shatter like glass.
